Oak-tober Fest

Oak-tober Fest

Why is the oak tree so important? They are a keystone species, that support entire ecosystems. Over 500 other species depend on the Oak for survival.
Celebrate the Oak tree with Lake Katherine on October 16, from 2PM-7PM. At the fest you'll find a beer garden by One Allegiance Brewing Co., acorn racing, scarecrow making, hayrides, educational displays and more. Free oak saplings will be provided by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District.
The event is free to attend, but some activities may require a fee.
