Please Note: All building permits, plans, and contractor registrations must be submitted via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
At this time we are accepting cash, checks or online payment. You can drop off payments into the Black drop box by the front door of the Building Department or mail payments to:

Special Notice: Please be advised that All Inspectors of the City of Palos Heights will have City identification, and City Inspectors will not show up unannounced to any residential property unless for Code Enforcement concerns/complaints. The Code enforcement officer will not ask to enter your home.
Do not allow unscheduled unidentified individuals into your home unless you are sure they are prescheduled City employees. If you are suspicious of anyone trying to gain entrance feel free to call the police.

Permissible Hours for Construction within the City:
- Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekends & Holidays: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
