Founded in 1975, PLOWS Council on Aging is South Suburban Cook County’s premier leader and connection to aging information and resources. PLOWS is a 501(c)3 human service organization providing comprehensive community services to more than 16,000 individuals in 20 municipalities within Palos, Lemont, Orland, and Worth Townships.
While programs and services are focused on those aged 60+ who are navigating the life cycle, PLOWS also provides specific services to people with disabilities aged 18+ living at home.
PLOWS Council on Aging is focused on bringing innovative opportunities and integrated solutions that help individuals maintain their health, dignity, and self-worth in their community, while ensuring their independence in their homes for as long as possible.
