On 11/08/18, at approximately 2:30 PM, 4 male blacks, all described as being late teens, early 20's entered the Simple Taste restaurant at 12246 S. Harlem Ave and engaged the owner in conversation, distracting the owner. One of the subjects related he was going to the bathroom and walked to the back of the restaurant with a second subject, where entry was made into a private office area and a theft occurred. They return to the front of the store, talk for a short while with the owner, and all four exit the store. No vehicles were observed.
